[rrd-users] rrd tuning

Hi,

I am trying to tune the alpha, beta and gamma
parameters so that I can use failure detection with a
one week seasonal cycle. After trying wide ranging
values for gamma, I was still not able to get the
prediction to give a high weightage to a value exactly
one seasonal cycle ago.

Can someone please give any thumb rules or pointers
that can help with this type of prediction ?
