Confirmed using 1.2.12 and 1.2.25

What's happening: rrdtool evenly divides remainging space, except on the
last row.

Maybe someone else has a smarter solution, but I just tried this one
and it seems to work:

If you always have up to three items on a row, suffix every third
label with '\l'. This will start a new row.

Thus:
AREA:GRAPH4#764913:Record Type\:CNAME.\l:STACK \
...
AREA:GRAPH9#5e676c:Record Type\:MX .\l:STACK \

and so on.

Adjust "every third" when you alter the graph width or the amount
of characters per label.
