Hm..  The 'cc'/'gcc' issue was something that I know about.  This one
isn't.  I hope someone more familiar with the installer can help.

You might try removing or renaming
/usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.33/doc/rrdtool.pod so that the install program
can do what it wants to do.

If it then errors on another file, move the whole 'doc' directory aside.
