The files were missing, I'm assuming that the program should create
these files, but evidently it didn't. I created some dummy files to make
sure and the original error went away and now says
'c:\mrtg/wwwroot\cpu1.rrd' is not an RRD file
\/ are valid and reliable in windows.

Is mixing '/' and '\' reliable? Can you fix that and try again?
