Thanks for the replies everyone.
I'm using 1.2.23 currently so I'll have to upgrade ASAP and see how it goes,
then throw in some more RAM if needed. Server has 4 GB of RAM currently and
it shows 500+ MB free, no swap space used. We're running CentOS 4,
2.6.xkernel, dual quad-core-Xeon E5335 @
2.00GHz, currently only two 10k RPM SAS drives just in a RAID 1.
Our 10000+ RRD files are being updated every 2-3 minutes, so more often than
every 5 minutes, but still it sounds like it should be able to handle it. We
were thinking of getting some of those Gigabyte ramdisks to have all the RRD
files live on but it sounds like that would be overkill.
