Hello all... I'm having problems getting RRDTool 1.2.28 to build on my SLES 10.2 64 Bit system.

I've built and installed all the dependencies (following the instructions on the web page http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/doc/rrdbuild.en.html ... speaking of which there are some errors in that procedure, like the fact that pango is a bzip archive, and libart is left out)

When I configure rrd it goes ok... but as soon as I make it I get:

RRDs.c: In function âXS_RRDs_xportâ:

RRDs.c:428: warning: unused variable âtargâ

RRDs.c:427: warning: unused variable âRETVALâ

RRDs.xs:332: warning: unused variable ârow_cntâ

Running Mkbootstrap for RRDs ()

chmod 644 RRDs.bs

rm -f blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.so

LD_RUN_PATH="/usr/lib64:/lib64" cc  -shared -L/usr/local/lib64 RRDs.o -L../../src/.libs/ -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/rrdtool-1.3.4/lib -lrrd  -o blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.so  \

   -lm -lpng -lz -lfreetype     \

/usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/4.1.2/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lpng

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Any ideas on how to fix this?
