[rrd-users] Max Value

Hello folks,
i have a rrd with 10 pings and want now to know the maximum ping.
I tried the following but it tells me that i can't use vdef in a vdef expression:
DEF:maxping=$rrd:median:MAX
VDEF:maxp=maxping,MAXIMUM
VDEF:val=maxp,200,/

Perhaps someone has another idea or knows what i made wrong.
