[rrd-users] Behind the basics rrd_graph

Hello @all,
unlikely my last response don't get an answer but i will try it again here.
I try to understand the basics from the rrd_graph tool and i really don'T get the clue how Tobias makes the dynamic horizontal y values. 
I saw some things like pow(10,floor(log10(d*s/v)))*d/s, but speak the truth, i don't understand nothing.
Perhaps someone can explain this??
