[rrd-users] rrdtool and python 2.6

Hi everyone,
New to the rrdtools, i'm trying to test the package.
I'm running under Debian and have installed Python 2.6. I've tried the
following command :
#apt-get install python-rrdtool
before this, i installed the rrdtool package.

It looks like everything went fine but as i installed Python 2.6 manually,
it doesn't find the "rrdtool" package. I'm looking for a way to install the
python-rrdtool package for the 2.6 version of Python.
Anyone can help me with this ?
