[rrd-users] RRD performance numbers

Hi,
   Where can I find information regarding rrd performance. I wanted to know 
if RRD is right for maintaining stats for a network device which can have 
high rate of connections.

   I was planning to use it for system that can have bursts of upto 2K 
connections / second. One RRD file per flow would get generated. Note that 
disk space is not an issue.
