I assume it's an error because it "is the same as "PRINT"". Infact they 
wrongly behave the same.

Well, it's not clear using 'man rrdgraph_graph', I think this could be 
explained better.

Same error here, with both GPRINT and PRINT. Maybe it is a not (yet) 
working feature. Let's use two differnt GPRINT statements, the first for 
the value, the latter for the time/date. Look at this (stub) graph:
