[rrd-users] rrdtool build failing with perl modules

It's failing here:

gcc  -shared -L/usr/local/lib RRDs.o -L../../src/.libs/  -lrrd  -o
blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.so   -lm -lpng -lz -lfreetype

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lpng
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [blib/arch/auto/RRDs/RRDs.so] Error 1
