[rrd-users] rrd data without graph?

hey all,

is it possible to render a graph without the graph area in rrdtool?

i'd like to display a text only image (in pnp4nagios incidentally) for some
metrics.  I don't need a graph.

I can get all the text to display by simply omitting any AREA or LINE
statements, but there's still an empty graph area.

any way to do that?
