I think I have spent enough time trying to explain how rrdtool
works this time around.

* I have also stated how to fake the time of your data accquisition
  to prevent rrdtool from re-sampling ...

* I have further explained how the implementation of a new data source
  type could unburden you from the time-fakeing by doing it for
  you.

I will refrain from futher comment on this matter for a few weeks
until the next round.
