[rrd-users] How to configure x axis to other things?

Hi all,

I'm a totally newbie to RRDTool and now using cacti to analyse sorts of
server real-time statistics.
Here's a question about how to configure x axis.
Have read the documentation about rrdgraph, I find that configuring x axis
is somehow complex.
My question is how to make x axis to another data. I'm wondering whether x
axis can refer to some data other than time span.
For instance, x axis is file size and y axis is the file count.
I'm not familiar with this, so any advice or solution is appreciate.
