Okay, then, it's probably a different problem.

There is no fix for the problem documented in that bugreport. A fix
would require changes all over the RRDtool code.

Anyway, since your problems seems to be different anyway, could you
please provide the exact commands used to generate the graphs? That
might help debugging the issue.
