[rrd-users] Specifying counter size

Is there a way to specify a COUNTER size (32/64 bit) when creating a
data source? I'm using 64-bit counters and would like resets occurring
near the 32-bit border to be discarded rather than automatically
corrected. I understand I can use the DERIVE type along with a min of
0 to discard *all* such values, but this is slightly different from
what I need.
