[rrd-users] Getting Total Bytes from COUNTER Data Source

I am using this function which seems to be working - I am counting
exactly how many bytes are going into an RRD to verify the value is
correct.

However, "bits per second" uses a base of 1000 (which is the default),
but is it possible to change the base for a single VDEF so I can use
1024 for total bytes?
