[rrd-users] Forcing our own dates?

Hi All,

is it possible to retrieve the date from the db as part of an overall 
query as opposed to using the current system date for the plotting of a 
graph. For example say I have a join that will show me the following:

- insert date
- db name
- table name
- total size
- table only size (no indexes)

can I force rrdtool to use the insert date as the primary graph date? 
and is it possible to re-generate the history if needed without getting 
dupes in the graphs?
