I don't know about the 1-pixel offset -- this might be a quirk of the Pango library?

The 984m you see in the Min/Max/Last is actually 984 milli-  since the data normalisation has rounded this down to just below 1.  This is as designed.

If you want to avoid this, you should remove the %s in your legends which will make the numbers all display without SI units.
