[rrd-users] RRDs .configure path?

When I installed rrdtool-1.4.5 using the command "./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/rrdtool-1.4.5", and make, etc. it proceeds to put
the RRDs.pm and related perl goodies in subdirectories of the prefix
directory even though the configure script understands where my perl
install is.  How can I configure rrdtool to properly put the RRDs
stuff where it belongs??
