[rrd-users] rrdtool-1.4.7 error

You may *think* you have compiled and installed 1.4.7, however your CGI
script is still using the v1.0.491 libraries from your previous version

 

I suspect what has happened is that you have not installed the Perl RRDs
module (make site-perl) and so the perl module is still on the old version,
hence cannot read the Ver003 RRD files.

 

Try completely removing the RRDs.pm and RRDs.so files (likely under
/usr/lib/perl somewhere) and then doing the make site-perl.
