[rrd-users] Architecture independence for rrd files

Hi there.

When I moved from a 32 bits to 64 bits ubuntu host, my rrd files
weren't usable, I had to do a export / import....

Yesterday I got a raspberry pi board and ported some of my energy
monitoring to it... it's very low power making it perfect for my
usage.

Problem is once again the rrd file aren't compatible with one another,
when I tried to read them I get an error:
"ERROR: unknown data acquisition function ''"

I thought it would be a good idea on finding out how to make the rrd
structure architecture independent, and if it's supposed to be, find
out what's going on.

Could anyone give me any pointers as to which modules in rrd is
handling that side of the code ? just hoping to save a little bit of
time...

Thank you
Regards
Jean-Yves
