Thank you all for your time, really appreciated you cooperation, let me clarify my need:
The machine i am trying to install rrdtool on it, is not mine, it belong to my company, so i cannot install another OS on it, or change any configuration.I want to manually install the tool, and i have already downloaded the package, what i want to know is:
- How to identify the dependencies needed for this installation?- Once identified, from where can i manually download them?
Hope i was clear now.
Please if someone can help me this way, i will be thankful.

Your error messages are showing that the system cannot download or obtain the required packages. You need to either have your DVD of packages mounted, or (preferably) have an active subscription with RHN (and an Internet connection) to pull the latest packages and patches from the Internet. If you do not have a RHN subscription (which costs $) then I suggest you instead install CentOS which is free and functionally identical to RHEL.
