Hello, i am new with rrdtool. After reading the introduction lecture and the tutorials from Alex van den Bogaerdt, using google and browsing/searchig the archive i could not really fond an answer. I build a simple RRD file just for track the loadavg on my Linux router box. Just simple to learn how rrdtool works. To reduce the load on the system while collect data and create the pics i am using rrdcollect to fetch the data and after some tests i decided to use rrdcgi to have low load while creating pics. I want to have the date/time of creation stamped on the pic. After searches described above i do not found anything that works. I found one site on the web (http://dingetje.homeip.net/cgi/rrdtool/cgi-demo.cgi) which mention this (fragment): [ ... ] --title "Graph in Localtime " [ ... ] I create a little cgi script similar in the rrdcgi manpage. The pic will be created but the tile is: Graph in Localtime I found a older memo from Tobi Oetiker which recommends to use the COMMENT tag within the RRD::GRAPH definition. But i was not able to get this work. Is this what i want intended to work or rather not? If there is any ressource which directs me deeper into that matter just give me a link. I will dig into.
