[smokeping-users] trouble executing smokeping.cgi on webserver

Hi,

I edited smokeping.cgi to contain valid paths and copied it to my cgi-bin
directory.  When I try to go to http://webserver/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi I get
an Internal Server Error.  I checked my error log, and it shows the
following:

ript. Bad header=Daemonizing /var/www/cgi-bin/s:
/var/www/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi

ript. Bad header=Daemonizing /var/www/cgi-bin/s:
/var/www/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi

I realize that the web server is trying to daemonize the script which is
what happens when I run smokeping executable.  Why is this?  My
smokeping.cgi is the one that come from the htdocs directory.
