We had this problem before. Thanks to Keith Patton, he provided a patch
for RemoteFping.pm and it started working.
I thought that the patch should have been included in the latest
SmokePing distribution but I might be wrong.
Attached is the patch.

I'm just a bit lost now ;-)

I followed the instructions for configuring ssh and rsh to do an fping
remote.
If i give the command "ssh someuser at someip fping somehost" this works,
so i
should be allowed to use a probe for remote fping.
