[smokeping-users] Re: Smokeping Problem

I had similar problems. I use both FPing and IOSPing in my config. I set
it up like this:

My probes section:
*** Probes ***

+ FPing
binary = /usr/local/sbin/fping

+ IOSPing
binary = /usr/bin/rsh
packetsize = 1024
forks = 1




Part of my Targets section:

probe = IOSPing

+ AggregationPoints
probe = IOSPing
menu = Aggregation Points
title = Aggregation Points

++ FromFTL
menu = from-ftl
title = ATM Latency from Fort Logan

+++ PROBE_CONF
ioshost = 10.11.12.13
iosuser = fartbox

+++ ftl-to-pueblo
menu = ftl-to-pub
title = ATM Latency between Fort Logan and Pueblo
host = 10.10.13.221


+ CDHS
probe = FPing
menu = CDHS
title = CDHS Sites

++ EDS
menu = dhs-cbm-r01-l0
title = CBMS Development Site
host = 10.10.1.5

And it all seems to work fine.
