[smokeping-users] RES: DNS.pm & dig

Hi, I have the same problem, Glenn, you can past the piece of config file
that contein DNS probes?

My config are:

*** Probes ***

+ FPing

binary = /usr/local/sbin/fping

+ DNS

binary = /usr/bin/dig

...

++++ DNStest
probe = DNS
menu = DNStest
title = DNStest
host = 10.1.1.1

	Well I have finally gotten smokeping working properly.
The only thing that doesn't seem to be work is the DNS probe.
I get the mini & the 4 graphs for each DNS server but they all
report "Median Ping RTT (avg NaN s)" & "avg pkg loss: 100.00 %" 

I do have dig installed and I can do a  "dig dns.host.com @dns.host.com"
How can I troubleshoot this ?

Are there any errors in your apache error_log file ?
Is smokeping daemonzied ?

I've been trying to install smokeping and everything appears to work except
the cgi doesn't create the graph.

I don't get any errors. I fixed all the permissions to the webserver can
write
to the imagecache etc, as the error messages told me to. I just get a broken
image symbol in my browser and there is no image on the server.

any ideas?
