Now I do have logs:

May 26 18:51:44 watchmen smokeping[11134]: EchoPingHttp: ab7-intranet.charite.de: timeout (5 s) reached, killing the probe. 
May 26 18:51:45 watchmen smokeping[11134]: EchoPingHttp: kruemel.charite.de: timeout (5 s) reached, killing the probe. 
May 26 18:51:46 watchmen smokeping[11134]: EchoPingHttp: www.medizin.fu-berlin.de: timeout (5 s) reached, killing the probe. 
May 26 18:51:47 watchmen smokeping[11134]: EchoPingHttp: magic.charite.de: timeout (5 s) reached, killing the probe. 

Does the timeout apply to the whole array of 20 EchoPingHttp requests
or just to every single one of them?
