Mhhh.. horrible

If I interpret this correctly, above the single a-Umlaut 'ä' is 
represented by c3 a4 which is not a single 8 bit character. IIRC this is 
what I sent originally....

This did convert correctly for html, but _not_ for the mini graphs. 
Opposed using LC_ALL=utf8 modified the file so the following was written

In this form the mini grphs are built correctly, however the html output 
is broken.

Maybe I am just dense :-(
