Ah, I didn't realize you had patched echoping itself as well
(although, rereading, that's what you said. Sorry.)

I guess we should wait for the patch to make it into a released version
of echoping before including support for it in Smokeping.

It'll be nice to have this feature, as many people are nowadays using
tcp/587 for mail submission in response to ISPs blocking 25 outbound.
