[smokeping-users] Nagios integration

Hi

I would like to integrate smokeping into nagios - not integrate nagios into smokeping because i think nagios is more flexible, especially in dependencies & escalating. As i cannot find anything on the web i assume that there isn't already a solution.

It would be nice to use the 'base features' (check host & create RRD & create graph/website) from smokeping in nagios. The easiest way i think is to use smokeping instead of check_ping together with nagios extended definitions (as it it done e.g. when using nagiosgraph).
But this would require to call smokeping from command-line with a parameter for the target that it just checks this target, creates rrd and exits afterwards. No other features like daemonizing/alarming/periodic checks ...

Is this possible or does it make sense to integrate such a feature to smokeping?
