believe we are happy for now; it was quite easy to expand the skel-based
probe to support the remote commands too, rather then fighting with the
remote-execution wrapper ;-) 

looking forward to the client-server version of smokeping though.

normally it is enough to just use warn to write out debug messages.
define a logfile and you will find them there ...

on another note, I am in discussion with a client who is loooking
at sponsoring a generic smokeping remote feature. This would allow
smokeping to run in salva and master mode. The slave would run
probes and hand the data over to the master upon request ...
