[smokeping-users] Smokeping 2.09 > 2.2.4 Ugrade Procedure

Is the a documented procedure for upgrading 2.0.9 > 2.2.4 

Smokeping 2.09 was installed from the Debian apt-get along with dependencies , it is still a fresh install , Debian Etch as well as smokeing are all in default configuration without any user/local/host specific parameters .

Is it accptable to simply find the install points of all package ffiles and copy over them with the files in the 2.2.4 package  ?
