You're very short on details. Please specify at least 

- the version of Smokeping you're running
- the platform (eg. Linux distribution)
- whether you installed it as packaged for your distribution or 
  from the original tar.gz
- if this is an upgrade or a new installation

Including your configuration file would help too.
