Hi,
Has anyone been using both the CiscoRTTMonEchoICMP and TelnetIOSPing
against their Cisco devices and experienced a difference in the reported
latencies? I have not done a lot with the Cisco SAA probes to date but
was just curious if anyone has tried this and possibly has an
explanation as to why the values are not the same? As an example, the
TelnetIOSPing reports a 5.1ms median while the CiscoRTTMonEchoICMP probe
reports a 1.0ms median. Both are using the same hosts, sources, etc...
Only difference is the probe.
Thanks!
Jim Munroe
