[smokeping-users] RRD Problems

Hi,

I have installed v2.4.2 and the latest version of RRDtools as well.

The graphs that are being produced are behaving in a weird way.  Sometimes the displayed data looks great, other times the graphs have no data at all and at other times, the granularity seems to change.  The sample interval was left at 300s, but the graphs would suggest that only one reading per 30mins or 60 mins is available.  i.e. the graph for the last 3 hrs is just one or two 'steps'.

With no intervention the graphs will often come right if one navigates to a different page and then comes back to the them.

Is this a bug, expected behaviour or can it be fixed with a config change ?
