I believe you can use the following

extraargs = --proxy <proxyname>:<proxy_port> --proxy-user

Is there a way to pass the proxy variable or other variables into curl
smokeping from curl?

 

The versions running:

 

curl --version

zlib/1.2.3 libidn/0.6.5

Protocols: tftp ftp telnet dict ldap http file https ftps 

Features: GSS-Negotiate IDN IPv6 Largefile NTLM SSL libz

 

smokeping --version

2.003006

be the wrong syntax trying to pass -x here.
