Use "nomasterpoll=yes" at the same level you are defining your slaves.

Example snippet:

++ F5s
menu = F5 BigIPs
title = F5s (Drill down for more specifics)
nomasterpoll = yes
slaves = hostname1.example.com hostname2.example.com
