[smokeping-users] HPing.pm ?

I'm trying to use hping3 with smokeping.
(my use case is "# probe the 5th host on route to 8.8.8.8"
hping3 -1 --tr-keep-ttl --traceroute --ttl 5 8.8.8.8

since it wont answer the icmp request ping packet.

I saw some references in the mailing list archives to :

http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/p/HPing.pm 

but it's 404 now.

it's not in the smokeping distribution either, nor in the trunk.

any clues ?

I would rather reuse one than starting from scratch.
