Hi,
I'm newbie for smokeping. I'm using smokeping to measure latency and get
graphs and alerts. but my problem is the child process of smokeping are
stopping suddenly.I'm using 60min as my polling frequency. I named my
child processes as FPING60_1,FPING60_2,FPING60_3.... etc. each child
processes own 48 devices. every time i restart smokeping service all probes
are working perfectly, graphs are
generating normally. but after about 24hours only few process are in
active state and others are gone.
I checked syslog and i found these type of messages.
Nov 25 12:16:19 smokeping smokeping[3294]: Child process 3298 (probe
FPing60_5) exited unexpectedly with status 0.
