What I'm trying to do now is to display graphs for 24h when clicking on a submenu and viewing the smaller "overview" graphs. (I'm not sure if there is a better terminology for them). Right now these graphs show the last 10h of data and show the full data when clicking on a graph. Is there a configuration setting I could tweak, or would I need to change the web interface code? Thank you and regards, Adrian From adrian_gh.popa at telekom.ro Wed Apr 8 14:59:19 2015 From: adrian_gh.popa at telekom.ro (Adrian Popa) Date: Wed, 08 Apr 2015 15:59:19 +0300 Subject: [smokeping-users] Setting time period for overview graphs In-Reply-To: References: <55251292.9010100@telekom.ro> Message-ID: <55252627.7080105@telekom.ro> Oh, right.... There was a smokeping.service file included. I don?t have access to a Linux box at the moment but will forward to the list tonight. Or you can just get it from the repo ? How do I increase the time range shown by sorters eg StdDev? At the moment is just showing an hours data and I'd like to make that a whole day. It doesn't take the range parameter. Please be nice! :-) I'm looking at dropping slave units around the office shortly in an effort to monitor the performance of our local WLAN. Having a look at the list of probes, the only one probe that can explicitly utilise any interface is Curl. Ideally I'd like to keep the slave units connected by Ethernet so (for SSH purposes) I can establish a solid connection to them at any time regardless of WiFi performance, but utilise the WLAN interface to probe by ICMP. Am I able to choose which interface to ping from? Thanks in advance Neil -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... On Ubuntu 14.04 with SmokePing 2.006008 and Apache2 .. Just installed. Smokeping is configured to simply ping my router, and I'm accessing SmokePing from local Firefox at http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/smokeping.cgi. I get a nice SmokePing page, but *all* .png files don't show . not even the rrdtool.png or smokeping.png . Looking at the Apache access.log, I see the problem. It's asking for files like /smokeping/images/rrdtool.png and getting a 404 status back. This is happening with all .js scripts, too. If I point Firefox at the file:// location of the rrdtool.png, the .png fetches just fine. Looking at the owners of all of these .png and .js files, I see root:root, but changing them to smokeping:www-data doesn't change anything. Their permissions are set to 644 anyway. I'm afraid I'm out of ideas . why would Apache report not being able to see them?? (BTW, my /etc/smokeping/Apache2.conf has /smokeping aliased to /usr/share/smokeping/www, which seems right. Symlinks seem to be enabled for this directory.) Any suggestions?? (All of these behaviors are essentially the unaltered install-out-of-the-box. I don't think I've messed on anything.)
