[smokeping-users] latency alerts

Could someone tell me what value is used for the latency checkers?

My check looks like this.
+rttdetect
type = matcher
edgetrigger = yes
pattern =  CheckLatency(l=>40,x=>4)
comment = 4 rtt => 40ms in 4 consecutive minutes

I am doing 20 pings every minute.

The reason I am asking I can't seem to correlate what I see when the alert is 
raised and what I see
by runniing and rrdtool fetch command.
