If I had to guess, I'd say you were pluged into a hub and not a switch? On
a hub, the router will see all traffic that passes that hub even if its not
for that router.

Subject: [mrtg] router traffic

hi peopls

our router (cisco 1600) have a Ethernet0 (10mb) ,Ethernet1(10mb) and Serial0
(64k isdn modem) interface.
on the serial0 interface we have normaly traffic (about 50% of the possible
traffic)
but on both ethernet interfaces we have permanent about 12kb/s or more
traffic.
Is this normal ? or have we a prob wiht the serial that cant get full
speed.?

if anyone can help, i can send him the daypics from mrtg.

Thanks

Zek
