Yes

In Config file

Interval: 15

And the log file shows

1166122800 14 14 14 14
1166122500 14 14 14 14
1166122200 14 14 16 16
1166121900 16 16 16 16
1166121600 16 16 16 16
1166121300 16 16 18 18

Could any one check their log files and see what's the difference in seconds between entries?

It looks like log file is always created with 300 seconds resolution, no matter what interval is set to.

Did you try an interval of 900? That would do a 15 minute interval.

That's the thing.

No matter what I put in the interval - it's always 300 seconds apart in
the log file.
On the graphs it's 15 minutes, but not in the log file.

Yes. The smallest interval is 300. Try some number greater than
300 and you'll get different output.

Hello All,

I'm not sure whether it's a known behavior, but no matter what
Interval
I specify in the cfg file - it always generates log files with the
entries 300 seconds apart.

I'm using MRTG ver 2.14.7

For instance

Interval: 15

And the log file shows

1166122800 14 14 14 14
1166122500 14 14 14 14
1166122200 14 14 16 16
1166121900 16 16 16 16
1166121600 16 16 16 16
1166121300 16 16 18 18

Is it normal?

Thanks Dmitry
