Having the option - bits - will multiply the result by 8.

By using 424 - you are causing the values to be multiplied again by 8.

Just convert the cell count to bytes - the Options bits will convert it to
bits for you.

Subject:  [mrtg] Bit scale problem

     Greetings:

     I am graphing some links in an ATM network using the ATMForum OID for
cell
count. The target looks something like this:
Target[port1]:1.3.6.1.4.1.353.2.3.1.1.4.9&1.3.6.1.4.1.353.2.3.1.1.2.9:publi
c at 172.16.10.54
* 424
Options[port1]: growright, bits

What I am doing is converting cells to bits (53 * 8) and then having MRTG
graph bits. What I don't understand is that my graphs are a factor of
1024X
off (I am getting 700kbps instead of 70kpbs, approx).

Is there an additional option I am missing? What would cause this
behaviour?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
