Humm...I have tcl7.6 and the snmpwalk in tnm2.1.7 the comment that
caused me to question was:

# You will need to use the included snmpwalk program,

which has been modified from the original version

supplied with the SCOTTY Tcl
# Extensions for Network Management:
# (http://wwwsnmp.cs.utwente.nl/~schoenw/scotty)
# If you don't already have TCL, you will need tcl 7.5 too.
#

... any case after appropriately modifying ascendget for the BSDI4.0.1
environment I get an error from running :

csh -n < ascendget

gives the error....usage: snmpwalk host subtree

..maybe I'm mis interpreting this na I net the snmpwalk from
(http://wwwsnmp.cs.utwente.nl/~schoenw/scotty) ???
Thanks
Chris
