Thanks. I don't know about the 3000, but snmpwalk <ipaddr> <ctty_str>
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr works with 5300, 3640 and 7200 routers. This is
generic - the Cat seems to be proprietory.

Here's some good ones:
    ifInOctets.1&ifOutOctets.1 - input & output traffic
    ifOperHack.1&ifOperHack.2 - Operational status (1=up, 0=down) - use maxbytes=1
for logical registration
    ifAdminHack - Admin status
    .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.47.1.1.6.0&.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.47.1.1.7.0 (no port numbers/port
0) - number of modems used & unused in a 5300) - maxbytes= number modems avail.
    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.1&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.3 - inlet & outlet
temperature on 7200
    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.57.0&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.8.0 - Utilised CPU & Free Memory

Thanks

Kev
