sure are packets, look that

[root at ns /root]# snmpget switch1 public .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.11.1
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifInUcastPkts.1 = 12570025

there is the description "interface in unicast packets"

[root at ns /root]# snmpget switch1 public .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.17.1
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifOutUcastPkts.1 = 17514415

"interface out unicast packets"

if you try snmpwalk switch1 public .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1

you will see some interesting OID's

see you
